Is your computer practicing good hygiene?

Writer: Scott GingoldScott Gingold

I am betting that I am not the first person to advise you to wash your hands for at least 20 seconds and to do so continually but what about your computer?

Whether you are in the office or working from home during the COVID-19 Pandemic you are touching your keyboard more times a day than people are searching the stores for toilet tissue! The question is how often are you sanitizing the keyboard, screen, mouse and if it is a laptop, the casing? Many people are touching these things while eating breakfast, lunch or a snack and those germ particles are being spread throughout the technology that we are using more than ever. By the way, the same holds for our smartphones.

So please make sure that you properly clean your devices often and without delay and make sure you only use a clean soft cloth with approved screen cleaner on your screens and when using safe and approved cleaning agents on the other components please make sure to properly and thoroughly dry any residual residue with a clean and dry cloth.

If you have any questions or need further advice, please do not hesitate to contact us!

In the meantime, stay safe, be well, and God Bless you and yours.
