Is your business ready for New Jersey's new data breach new rules?

Writer: Scott GingoldScott Gingold

On May 10, 2019 New Jersey enacted Assembly Bill 3245 which further defines what a data breach is as well as new reporting requirements.

If you think that because your business is not based in New Jersey you are exempt from these new notification rules you would be incorrect. If your #business suffers a #databreach and any person impact lives in New Jersey you will have to comply with these new rules. This will affect businesses with Employees, Independent Contractors, or any other individuals who live in New Jersey even if your business is based in the #lehighvalley or any other area of #pennsylvania or other states.

Now is the time to make sure that your #cybersecurity systems are strong enough to do everything possible to properly protect your business, #employees, #customers, and anyone else whose credentials are maintained by your company.

Not sure if you are properly protected? Uncertain where to start? Don't worry, we have you covered! Simply drop us a line and we will conduct a #security audit to make sure you are properly protected.
